Position: GBV Case Worker

Job Summary

The GBV Case Worker will provide comprehensive and confidential support to GBV survivors through a survivor-centred approach. The role includes case management, communication, reporting, referrals, coordination, and adherence to feminist leadership principles and anti-racism practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. GBV Case Management (60%)

Identify and register GBV cases.
Conduct intake and needs assessments.
Ensure confidentiality and informed consent.
Develop and implement case plans.
Provide psychosocial support.
Refer survivors to appropriate services.
Conduct follow-up and case closure.
Accompany survivors to safe shelters and One-Stop Crisis Centres (OCC).
Organize case conferences for complex cases.
Maintain accurate case files.
Securely store information in a password-protected system.

2. Communication & Coordination (20%)

Coordinate with CiC, APBn, service providers and government officials.
Participate in camp coordination meetings.
Support volunteers and awareness campaigns.
Update GBV referral pathways.
Maintain communication with partners.

3. Reporting & Documentation (20%)

Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Maintain GBVIMS database.
Ensure compliance with data protection protocols.
Prepare work plans and accomplishment reports.
Digitize and upload case files.

4. Feminist Leadership & Anti-Racism (10%)

Promote feminist leadership principles.
Support an inclusive workplace.
Practice anti-racism in daily work and teamwork.

Reporting To

GBV Case Management Supervisor

Educational Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, Counselling, Public Health or relevant discipline.
Experience in GBV/Case Management preferred.
Knowledge of survivor-centred approaches.
Experience using GBVIMS/GBVIMS+ or similar case management systems will be an advantage.
