Job Context
BRAC is one of the world`s leading development organisation. Since 1972 BRAC is dedicated to alleviating poverty and empowerment of the poor. In continuation to that, BRAC has taken Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme in Ukhia and Teknaf Upazila of Cox`s Bazar district to support the displaced people arriving from the Rakhine state of Myanmar.

Job Description / Responsibility
Effective Project Planning and implementation of the Project.
Coordinate the preparatory activities of the project.
Ensure timely and quality implementation of the project activities, and monitoring track the achievement of overall project objectives.
Attain in the Donor & Need base Meeting.
Prepare IEC and visibility materials and provide support to the Teams for proper uses of the materials.
Take initiative for selection of Project Beneficiaries.
Ensure effective monitoring of the project activities.
Review project related crucial problems which are forwarded by the field staff and take necessary step to resolve them on priority basis.
Identify staff training needs & ensure need based training for respective individuals timely and appropriately.
Provide on the job training, coaching and mentoring to the project staff working in the field office.
Ensure and promote team sprit among the staff members and maintain gender sensitivity.
Conduct team meeting regularly and motivate them to achieve the project activities.
Ensure that local purchase and expenditure are done as per BRAC-HCMP policy.
Effectively coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth and effective functions of office management in all respect
Ensure preparation of all periodic reports on implementation progress including financial report.
Coordination with the other NGO.
Liaison with government officials at District and Upazila level related to the project activities.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
